AS well as beer and food, regulars of a Cradley pub can now indulge in a friendly game of petanque piste.
The innovative idea was thought up by Andy and Kim Lannie, who run The Red Lion Inn, in Stiffords Bridge.
Mr Lannie said: "Since we put the pitch in a few weeks back, it has been going well and it's a lot of fun.
"I'm pretty sure we are the only pub in the area which is doing this, but we wanted to try something new as we feel it's crucial to keep offering different things to survive these days.
"People have been using the pitch since we built it, but we are hoping that other pubs will get on board to host pertanque games too."
The couple are hoping this is the case as they want to create a friendly league table between the pubs.
