THERE will be great excitement in Barnards Green on Saturday, December 6, as the traders host their annual Christmas Extravaganza.

This year they welcome for the first time a Rodeo Reindeer Ride!

The event runs from 10am to 1pm and there will be three free 20-minute puppet and magic shows for children happening throughout the morning and lunchtime.

Plus there will also be a demonstration of circus skills with plenty of opportunity to join in and a toddlers bounce and ball Pool for the youngest visitors.

The excitement will continue when Father Christmas arrives with his helpers with a free present for each child who goes to say hello to him in his grotto in TP Travel.

You can also take part in the Christmas window competition where children and parents have to find out the famous Christmas phrase that is hidden in the anagram displayed in the shop windows.

Take your entry back to Just So and you could win a lovely cuddly toy. We also have an expert face painter to create a magical, festive face for the day.

There will be lots of Christmas music provided by local bands and choirs and delicious hot foods to sample and enjoy.

Have a go at the tombola or buy a cake from the cake stall.

The great thing about all the activities is that any money raised on the day and during December by the Barnards Green Traders Association will then be donated to the Malvern Community Action.

The funds raised will be used to support disadvantaged and elderly people within our local community.

Organising the Christmas Extravaganza and raising funds for Community Action is the traders' way of saying thank you to the local community that supports them throughout the year.
