LOTS on to join in with at Christ Church during Civic Week , please do come to one or all of our events, our doors are open all week.

On Friday, July 11 at 7.30pm we have the Civic Society Meeting - The God Particle - Higgs Bosun. Stephen Haywood will explain why this is named thus and what its significance may be.

Refreshments will be served after the talk. Non Members £1 entry

And then from Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18 our Church will be open daily between 10amand 4pmfor coffee and cakes, displays, browse our books, look at our beautiful war memorial display and history of the soldiers and come and look at the history of our church in this week of celebrating. The Civic Society Literary Competition entries will be on display in the church , you can even see our old gas lamp ready to be restored! Check out our beautiful stained glass windows, including Florence Nightingale and St Francis and our Kempe window.

On Thursday, July 17 at 7.30pm the Civic Society present Vesta Tilley - Ray Sturdy tells the extraordinary story of Britain’s most popular male impersonator and music hall performer, Tickets £7 from The Great Malvern Hotel.

On Saturday, July 19 at 7.30pm Edwardian Times, an Evening of Music and Readings for Malvern Civic Week. The Elgar Society and the Jenny Lind Singers give a performance on an Edwardian theme. Tickets £10 from Malvern Theatre Box Office. Any enquiries on any event 07756 722 426 please.
