HEALTHCARE workers in Worcestershire are being invited to join a new choir group bringing together people from all sides of the sector.
The Health Choir is the brainchild of Worcestershire Royal Hospital chaplain Reverend David Southall, who said he hoped to bridge the gap between the health and social care sectors.
Rev Southall – who also runs a choir for people with breathing difficulties in the county – said the group had first met two weeks ago and got off to a great start, with 60 people showing an interest already.
“It’s early days but we are hoping to get chance to show what we can do at various health related events,” he said.
“We had a fantastic first session and, if I can say so myself, we made a great sound.”
