LONGDON Village Hall Committee are holding their main fund-raising event this year – the Longdon Village Happening on Saturday, July 6, from 3pm.
This will be held at Longdon playing field if dry or in the village hall, Bear Lane, if wet.
There will be plenty of activities to entertain visitors with cream teas, cakes, refreshments, games, barbecue, Pimms, stalls, bar, fire juggler and live music – bring your own instrument and join in.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the upkeep of the village hall.
