CALLING all Scarecrows.
St James Church, Colwall, is holding a Scarecrow weekend on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.
On Saturday there will be a Scarecrow Barn Dance at Colwall Village Hall starting at 7pm, with prizes for the best dressed female and male scarecrows.
Tickets are £10 adults and £7.50 under 16 which includes a Ploughman's Supper and a bar will be available.
Tickets can be purchased at John Goodwin, Estate Agent or from the Parish Office.
The following day, Sunday, a scarecrow hunt will take place in the village. Tea, coffee and cake will be available during and after the hunt at The Rectory, Walwyn Road.
