THE March meeting commenced with the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting.

The coffee morning had been enjoyed by members who went to it. Membership cards were handed to two new members.

It was announced that two more people were needed to make up the numbers for the outing to Highgrove.

The music group is not meeting at the moment. The leisure group has been suspended for the time being.

The sales table for next month will be plants and anything else for the garden.

Members were advised that new programmes will be available next month.

At the end of the normal monthly meeting we then went on to the business of the annual meeting, starting with the financial report for the year by the treasurer.

The chairman then started her report by thanking members for their support and the committee for their work during the year.

As no new names were put forward, the current officers were proposed, seconded and accepted by members with the exception of one who resigned this year.

The speaker who had been booked was unable to attend and so the chairman asked three members to give a short talk about their lives.

The Guild meets on the third Thursday of every month in the United Reformed Church Hall, Malvern Link, at 10.15am.
