FOR a thousand years, Madresfield Court and the Beauchamp family have been important players in the history of Malvern and farther afield.
The latest generation of the Beauchamps have now moved into the house following a major renovation.
Peter Hughes has been the estate manager for 30 years.
Making such major changes to a recent building would be a daunting task, but doing it to a building that dates from the 13th century and which has grown steadily over the years poses special problems.
Peter gave a bumper audience of 200 a polished description of what has been achieved.
The next Lunch Box will be on Thursday, when the children of Malvern Parish CE School will be presenting their Christmas Concert.
