WHAT a special day we had on Saturday, November 17, when we had our annual Christmas fair.

The church was buzzing with a sea of people enjoying themselves, being entertained by the Chase Brass Band’s uplifting playing, buying from all our well-stocked stalls and enjoying their bacon, egg and sausage sandwiches in our cafe along with refreshments and home-made cakes.

It was wonderful to see so many having a happy time and we would like to thank you all for joining us and we look forward to seeing you again.

The £1,500 raised will go towards the upkeep of our beautiful building.

And what a full day as in the evening an appreciative audience of more than 60 of us listened as Severn Voices filled the Church with sublime singing and music with a Baroque programme including Vivaldi’s Gloria, Monteverdi and Lotti, showing our acoustics to perfection. A retiring collection was made for their chosen charity of Music Therapy.
