AT the October meeting members were updated on the work of the Hospice Angels by Mike Pullen.
As always, the Hospice Angels have a number of projects in the pipeline. Mr Pullen gave an inspiring account of how fund-raising was progressing, supported by film footage showing practical ways in which the Angels have been involved in raising awareness of the work of St Michael’s Hospice.
Everyone at the meeting was touched by the presentation and the discussion afterwards included many anecdotes of friends and family who had been cared for at the hospice.
Parkway WI meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the Baptist Church Rooms, Ledbury, from 2pm.
