- Sergeant Simon Hallam
I began my career with West Mercia Police in 1998 and have been involved in frontline policing ever since. Having worked within the response role initially as a PC within the Malvern area, I was promoted to Sergeant during this posting. I have subsequently worked as a Custody Sergeant within the busy cell block at Worcester Police Station and on completion of this posting I spent two years working within the South Worcestershire Operational Response Unit having responsibility for firearm response and serious road traffic collision matters.
I moved to the arena of Safer Neighbourhood Policing at Warndon, Worcester in June 2015 following a five year spell on patrol duties within Evesham. Having spent almost three years in post having responsibilities for some of the challenging areas of higher need within East Worcester I have now moved back to where I began my career. I look forward to tackling the new challenges of rural policing within the Malvern Hills District.
- Police Constable Kevin Johns
My career with West Mercia Police began in 2006 when I became a Police Community Support Officer for the Chase Ward, Malvern. In 2009 I became a PC and worked on response at Worcester Police Station. I then continued as a response officer when I was posted to Malvern. In January 2018 I became the Safer Neighbourhood Officer for the Upton Ward which I find challenging and rewarding.
- Police Community Support Officer Lisa Freeman
My employment started with West Mercia in January 2004 as an admin clerk in personnel at Hindlip Head quarters. In October 2004 I became a PCSO and joined the Safer Neighbourhood Teams at Malvern. I have worked most of the wards in Malvern including Pickersleigh, Link and Dyson, and Priory and Chase. I have receive two commendations, my first one in 2010 for preventing a young woman from coming to harm in Malvern Link and more recently for my commitment to a new scheme called Facewatch (an online crime recording system designed for use by retail outlets in the capture of shoplifters). In April 2016 I moved to Upton-Upon-Severn where I hope my previous experience will be invaluable to the community.
- Police Community Support Officer Linda Pawley
I have worked for West Mercia Police since March 2001. I worked in the Force Control Room until January 2014 when I became a full time Police Community Support Officer for Arboretum and Claines. On 17th December 2018 I joined Upton Safer Neighbourhood Team. I enjoy the varied role as a PCSO and the unexpected challenges it brings every day.
