THE Courtyard’s Creative Ageing Team have unveiled the latest event in their calendar of activities for older people living in Herefordshire, and it's called Miss Kitty's Spectacular Tea Dance.

And pantomime dame, Nancy Sonata, will be on the mic.

A spokesman said: "After the huge success of Miss Kitty’s Spectacular Tea Dance at the annual Remember Me event hosted by The Courtyard in May 2017 its back this winter. Led by an experienced dance movement specialist, the event has been specially designed to support a range of additional needs and is suitable for seated and more active dancers.

"However, Miss Kitty’s Spectacular Tea Dance is not your traditional dance. Hosted by the marvellous Miss Kitty to a lively playlist featuring artists ranging from Elvis to Adele this is a fun filled afternoon.

Penny Allen, Adult Participation Manager, says: “We were overwhelmed with the reception Miss Kitty got in May and we’re so happy to make it a regular fixture of the Creative Ageing Calendar. And we’re thrilled that Dame Nancy Sonata is taking over the mic for this very festive event!”

Miss Kitty’s Spectacular Tea Dance will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre in Hereford on Wednesday November 29 from 12.30pm to 3pm.
