WITH half a century of showbusiness between them, Sandi Toksvig and Bonnie Langford bring the ultimate one-woman show to Malvern - with two of them.

Short & Curly promises to be an excess of anecdotes, a sprinkling of song and dance and a lot of laughs.

Bonnie and Sandi have been friends for more than 20 years and their infectious warmth and energy make for an unforgettable evening.

No two shows are the same, partly because Sandi refuses to stick to the point and Bonnie keeps breaking into song.

Sandi Toksvig is a well-known columnist, novelist and TV and radio regular. She is best known for being the current host of Radio 4's The News Quiz and her regualar appearances on BBC 2's Call my Bluff.

In 2007, she was named Channel 4 political humorist of the year, and radio broadcaster of the year by the Broadcast Press Guild.

Bonnie made her debut on the West End stage at the tender age of seven in a musical adaptation of Gone with the Wind. She went on to play many leading roles in West End musicals including Sweet Charity, Gypsy, and Me and My Girl and also played Roxie Hart in Chicago, just last year.

In 2006, she added another string to her bow when she participated in ITV's hit show, Dancing on Ice, and the national tour of the show, which has just finished.

Short & Curly is on at Malvern for one night only, next Thursday, July 7, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £14.50-£16.50 and are available by calling 01684 892277 or online at www.malvern-theatres.co.uk.
