A millennium of music in Ledbury
THE Cradley Singers will raise the rafters of Ledbury Market Theatre with "A Thousand Years of Choral Music."
A spokesman said: "This concert will feature many of the best known and well loved choral classics, from Baroque through to contemporary composers, as well as solos and instrumental items.
"In the second half the choir will sing the haunting 'Five Spirituals' from Sir Michael Tippet's 'A Child of Our Time' and conclude with Bob Chilcott's swingingly popular 'A Little Jazz Mass'."
The concert will take place on Saturday, March 19, from 7.30pm.
