PROLIFIC stage and television actress Liza Goddard stars in The Official Agatha Christie Theatre Company’s adaptation of Go Back For Murder when it comes to Malvern Theatres next week.

The classic ‘whodunit’ tells the story of Carla Le Marchant who has to live with a disturbing family secret; her mother, Caroline Crale, died in prison while serving life for killing her husband.

But on finding a letter in which Caroline claims that she’s innocent, Carla becomes obsessed, determined to clear her mother’s name.

Enlisting the help of Justin Fogg, the son of Caroline’s defence lawyer, Carla tracks down a number of people from her mother’s tragic past, only to uncover a shocking truth.

Liza Goddard is wellknown for her stage and TV credits including the BBC’s Bergerac and ITV’s long-running game show, Give Us A Clue.

The cast also includes child actress and grown-up screen star and cover model Sophie Ward, Robert Duncan, known for his role as chief executive Gus Hedges in Channel 4’s Drop The Dead Donkey, Lysette Anthony, star of Woody Allen’s Husbands and Wives and the BBC sitcom, Three Up, Two Down and Ben Nealon, who starred as Jeremy Forsyth in the long running ITV drama Soldier, Soldier.

Go Back For Murder runs at Malvern Theatres from Monday, January 28 to Saturday, February 2.
