AWARD-winning comedienne Jo Brand will be entertaining guests with personal anecdotes and answering questions during an intimate lunch at Dewsall Court in Callow later this month, to raise money for a local hospice.
Guests will enjoy a drink and canapés on arrival, followed by a two-course lunch washed down with a charity auction conducted by Kate Bliss during the event on November 28.
A well-known comedian, writer and actress, Jo Brand is a also a former psychiatric nurse and has contributed to the efforts of charities over the years, including Comic Relief, Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and Alzheimer’s Society.
Katie Farmer, events and community fundraising manager at St Michael’s Hospice in Hereford, said: “It is with profound pleasure that Jo is taking time out of her extremely busy schedule to help St Michael’s Hospice in this way.”
