Our political system is in chaos right now. The bloodbath in Westeros doesn’t look quite so bad by comparison.
With uncertainty looming over who will lead Britain in this post-Brexit world, maybe we should be looking towards the Narrow Sea for some strong leadership from the first of her name.
1. She appoints the right people
Tyrion as hand of the Queen? Slam dunk. She listens to his sage advice, especially when it comes to not killing people.
2. She knows the importance of a well-placed alliance
That meeting with Yara Greyjoy had fans spiralling into a full-on shipping frenzy. Now Yara has Daenerys’ support in her claim to the Salt Throne and Yara has the Greyjoy’s ships. Win win.
3. She has no time for romantic distractions
She might be the mother of dragons but she still likes someone to keep her warm at night. But, she knows that it just won’t do to have loyal Daario at her side when she storms into King’s Landing so she made him stay behind in Meereen.
4. She has some serious gravitas, unlike some people
This one speaks for itself.
5. She has the firepower
You really shouldn’t pick a fight with this lot, should you Cersei?
Watch out, dragons could soon be flying over Westminster.
