Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Judy Murray has revealed who she will be rooting for when the show returns next week.
Murray, who was voted off after eight weeks in last year’s series, said she will cheer on weather presenter Carol Kirkwood and TV chef Ainsley Harriott.
She said: “The two people I know in the line-up are Carol Kirkwood and Ainsley Harriott, so I guess they will be the ones that I’ll be supporting.
“But when you watch it you start to engage with people you identify with more, maybe more with people your age or people who entertain you.
“I will definitely be watching. I am away a lot but I always record it and watch it when I get home.”
The other contestants are Kirsty Gallacher, Iwan Thomas, Jeremy Vine, Kellie Bright, Georgia May Foote, Katie Derham, Peter Andre, Daniel O’Donnell, Anthony Ogogo, Jay McGuiness, Anita Rani, Jamelia and Helen George.
The launch show will air on BBC One on September 5 at 7.15pm.
