A magician who made a helicopter appear on stage and a Siberian dance troupe have taken the fifth and sixth places in Saturday night’s live Britain’s Got Talent final.
Jamie Raven won the public vote, while it was down to the judges to choose between dance groups IMD Legion and UDI.
Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell backed UDI, while David Walliams and Alesha Dixon chose IMD Legion – so it was down to the public vote – which saw UDI sail through.
With IMD Legion in third place, the Kingdom Tenors came fourth, Gracie Wickens-Sweet took fifth place, The Sakyi Five sixth, Ella Shaw seventh, Dylan Byrd eighth and Narinder Dhani ninth.
Before the results, judge Alesha Dixon’s performance as the guest singer provoked two questions.
Firstly, can she be buzzed off?
Apparently she can be on the app….
And secondly, how tiny does she make Ant & Dec look?
But actually she’s only 5ft 6in!
Same time tomorrow?
