Sensational red head Kara Lily Hayworth was asked to Step Inside Love to be cast as Cilla having queued for four hours and plucked from 2000 hopefuls during open auditions she is the star of the show.

Written by BAFTA-winning Jeff Pope the production is a musical adaption of the 2014 ITV mini-series Cilla starring the amazing Sheridan Smith meant there were big shoes to fill. Hayworth's cracking voice and impressive acting ensured a flawless performance on the opening night in Bristol.

The show covers the early years of the ordinary teenage girl Pricilla White, during the day a pool typist in the evening a wannabe singer encouraged to sing at Liverpool's Cavern Club by her friends, her relationship with Bobby and her manager the infamous Brian Epstein.

Cilla becomes a 60's superstar topping the charts with Anyone Who Had a Heart and You're My World her two number one hits of 1964. 

Bobby is played superbly by Carl Au with plenty of emotion, charisma and charm, likewise as is Andrew Lancel's performance as  a distressed Epstein.

There are a lorra lorra laughs throughout the show courtsey of Cilla's parents played by Pauline Fleming and Paul Broughton.

A story of love and devotion, sadness, heartbreak and real happiness during a musical era which will live on forever.

It is as if the young Cilla is right back on the stage, a wonderful show.
