MALVERN Theatres is the venue for several events in the Voices and Visions arts festival for 2010.
The popular festival, now in its twelfth year, offers a diverse and exciting programme giving local children and young people the chance to perform, exhibit and celebrate their achievements.
The events in July at the Forum include a music showcase, on Wednesday, July 7, a performing arts showcase on Thursday, July 8 and a dance showcase on Friday, July 9.
All events are at 7.30pm and Tickets for the showcases will soon be on sale at the theatres box office on 01684 892277 or at www.malvern-theatres.co.uk.
The Voices and Visions festival opens with an art exhibition held in the cloisters of Worcester Cathedral from next Friday (May 28) to June 27. The exhibition is open to the public during normal cathedral hours and admission is free.
The exhibition illustrates the breadth of talent that exists in our schools and includes photography, sculpture, textiles, graphics, drawing, painting and mixed media. Students from schools across the Malvern areas are contributing to the show.
