DESCRIPTION

This is a rare opportunity to purchase 13.25 acres of land in a tranquil rural setting. The land has access from Batchcombe Lane, which becomes a bridleway itself leading to Longley Green. The land is divided into two separate paddocks/fields, with two main areas of woodland and a steel framed barn 20m x 10m. The first paddock continues uphill immediately to the left of the entrance and levels out as it reaches the eastern boundary. There are a number of mature oaks and a couple of young oak stands within the field that also has a bridleway crossing it. To the north eastern boundary of the field is a 'christmas tree' plantation containing mature conifers and a range of deciduous trees including birch, beech and oak. The second paddock field is accessed by continuing through the gate and is on the southern side of the land. There is an open boundary to the second part of the field which has been previously sold. To the western boundary is and area of boundary land leading to a stream. The central part of the land comprises of a private wooded valley with mature oaks to the northern slope and younger mixed deciduous trees to the southern slope. A hardcore track leads from the entrance and into the secluded valley and gives access to the steel framed barn 20m x 10m. The village of Storridge itself lies just north of Malvern and has a church and inn. The neighbouring village of Cradley (approx three miles) has a church, doctor's surgery, post office/village store and butchers. DIRECTIONS

From Great Malvern take the B4219 Cowleigh Road signposted West Malvern and Bromyard and stay on this road for about two miles. Upon reaching the T-junction with the A4103 Hereford to Worcester Road turn left onto and after a short distance turn almost immediately right opposite the church signposted Birchwood. Continue a short distance along the lane, taking the first left onto a single-track lane (no through road). After a mile turn right signposted Batchcombe Mill and The Oast House Barn. Continue for a short distance over the bridge (18ton restriction sign) and the entrance to the property is on the right as indicated by the Allan Morris 'For Sale' board.
