Clunton is a village in south Shropshire, England, and lies between Clun and Craven Arms. It is part of the civil parish of Clunbury, the nearest railway station is Hopton Heath and in the centre of the village there is a traditional country pub owned by a group of locals and St Mary's church. To the south of the village is Clunton Coppice, a surviving piece of sessile oak woodland, owned by Shropshire WildlifeTrust. In A Shropshire Lad, A.E. Housman wrote the verse: 'Clunton and Clunbury, Clungunford and Clun, Are the quietest places Under the sun'.

Clunton is surrounded by several other small villages and further afield is Bishops Castle 8 miles, Knighton 9.7 miles and Ludlow 16 miles which all offer a wider variety of services including health care, supermarkets and schooling.


From Ludlow take the A49 north, as you enter Craven Arms turn left at the mini roundabout on the B4368 towards Clun. Stay on this road until you reach the village of Clunton where the property is located on the left hand side after the Crown Inn.
