THE coronavirus vaccination centre at the Three Counties Showground has closed after staff were redeployed elsewhere.
The showground site will be closed today (July 20) and tomorrow (July 21) - with a spokesman saying it was a pre-planned closure.
They said: "“The Three Counties Vaccination Centre was originally scheduled to be closed on these dates due to a scheduled event taking place at the showground, which has since been cancelled.
"As it was a planned closure date, our staff have been deployed elsewhere—so the site will be open today until 3pm, and closed tomorrow (Thursday 22nd June).”
In a Tweet, the Herefordshire and Worcestershire CCG, which runs the site, said: "The vaccination centre at Three Counties Showground, Malvern will be closed this afternoon and all day tomorrow.
"Please do not attend for a walk-in vaccination."
