WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (CARRINGTON BRIDGE) SCHEME 2018
Worcestershire County Council hereby give notice that
they have made and submitted to the Secretary of
State for Transport for confirmation a Scheme under
Section 106 (3) of the Highways Act 1980 authorising
the Council to construct as part of a highway they are
proposing to construct between the Ketch Roundabout
and the Powick Roundabout, Worcester in the County
of Worcestershire a bridge over the navigable waters
of the River Severn.
Copies of the Scheme and of the relevant plans and
specifications may be inspected free of charge at
County Hall Spetchley Road Worcester WR5 2NP
between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Thursdays and
between 9am and 4.30 pm on Fridays.
Any person may not later than 30th April 2018 object
to the confirmation of the Scheme by notice to the
Secretary of State for Transport, National Transport
Casework Team Newcastle, Tyneside House,
Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle
Upon Tyne, NE4 7AR stating the grounds of the
objection.
In submitting an objection it should be noted that your
personal data and correspondence will be passed by
the Secretary of State for Transport to the Council to
enable your objection to be considered. Where the
Order becomes the subject of a local Public Inquiry (PI),
all correspondence is copied to the Inspector
conducting the Inquiry and will be kept in the PI library,
where it is publicly available. If you do not wish your
personal data to be forwarded you will need to advise
us of this within the next 5 days. We will then copy
your representations to the order making authority
with any information that could identify you removed.
It is therefore important to be aware that, in the case
of parties upon whom notice has been served, if
personal data is withheld it will not be possible for the
Council to enter into negotiations. Furthermore, should
a public inquiry be held, such representations may be
given less weight by the inspector.
