Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(U61608 Blakes Lane, Guarlford)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Order made: to close that part of U61608 Blakes Lane, Guarlford from its junction with B4211 Ryhdd Road to its junction with C2106 Clevelode Lane in order to clear blockage by BT Networks.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4211 Ryhdd Road, C2106 Clevelode Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 15 January 2018.
(A4104 Old Street, Upton upon Severn)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Order made: to close that part of A4104 Old Street, Upton upon Severn from its junction with U61213 Minge Lane to its junction with A4104 High Street to incorporate a one-way between 73-33 Old Street in a northerly direction in order to facilitate gas works by Balfour Beatty.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A4104 High Street, A4104 Church Street, B4211 Hanley Road,
B4211 Hanley Castle, B4209 Hanley Castle, B4209 Roberts End to B4209 Hanley Castle, B4209 Roberts End, B4209 Hanley Swan to Roberts End, B4209 Hanley Road, B4208 Blackmore Park Road, B4208 Garrent Bankto Danemoor Cross, B4208 Garrent Bank, B4208 Gloucester Road, A4104 Drake Street, A4104 Welland Road and A4104 Tunnel Hill.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 49 days Commencing: 12 January 2018.
(Restricted Byways MV-890, MV-891, MV-892, MV-892, Malvern and NW-513, Newland)(Temporary Closure Order) 2018
Order made: to close Restricted Byways MV-890, MV-891, MV-892, MV-892, Malvern and NW-513, Newland for their entire lengths.
The Order has been made to facilitate the removal of vegetation and resurfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highwayaffected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4208 Townsend Way and A449 Worcester Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 16 days commencing on 15 January 2018.
(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Hill View Close, Malvern]
On 28 December 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and side ofroad in Malvern:
Hill View Close (northwest side) from a point 8 metres northeast of its junction
with Lower Howsell Road for a distance of 12 metres in a north easterly direction;
(southeast side) from a point9 metres northeastofits junction with Lower Howsell
Road for a distance of 11 metres in a north easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 18 January 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement ofReasons for making the Order may be inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Malvern Library, Graham Road,
Malvern, Worcs., WR14 2HU, and CountyHall, SpetchleyRoad, Worcester, WR5 2NP
during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
