RAY ROBERTS Of Ray Roberts TV, Ex- CO IO17 ATC. Ex- Chairman Malvern Hills Conservators. Sadly passed away on January 7th 2020, aged 86 years. Funeral Service to take place at Worcester Crematorium on Tuesday, January 28th at 1.45 p.m. Flowers or donations, if desired, for The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal may be sent to F.W. Spilsbury, Funeral Director, 12 Upper Howsell Road, Malvern, Worcs. WR14 1TL or donations may be left in the donation box at the Crematorium.

Ray was a true gentleman and I have a lot to thank him for in my days many years ago at 1017 Malvern Squadron where he spent long hours training us teenagers in drill, shooting, gliding, navigation, engines and radio, such that some of us enjoyed Air Force careers later. His passing represents a big loss, I salute him and may he rest in peace. Doug Whitfield.
