WORCESTER Wolves’ in-form players look to keep up their hot run when Leeds Force visit the University of Worcester Arena in the British Basketball League on Friday (7.30pm).

Dallin Bachynski made his third appearance of the season in the BBL All-Star Five as he made sure Worcester did not fall victim to a giant-killing in the BBL Trophy at Team Northumbria with a powerful 93-63 win.

Centre Bachynski had too much in his locker for the home defence at Sport Central as he racked up 14 points, 11 boards, five assists and four steals.

George Beamon and Trayvon Palmer both made the bench for Wolves who will be aiming to move up the table from ninth when basement boys Force visit for the festive fixture with the visitors having just one win to their name from 12 matches.

Wolves’ form has picked up with last Friday’s 102-92 home win over Sheffield Sharks putting them in pole position for the BBL Cup semi-final second leg in South Yorkshire next Wednesday.

In the league, they previously won 97-86 at lowly Manchester Giants and 76-61 at mid-table Surrey Scorchers before taking out Plymouth Raiders 97-90 at home with recent signing Robert Gilchrist shining.

Bachynski was joined in the all-star five by former Wolves ace Orlan Jackman, now at Cheshire Phoenix, along with Neil Watson from Plymouth, Giants’ Ingus Bankevics and Tony Wroblicky from Sheffield.
