ON-song Worcester Wolves ace Jermel Kennedy won a place in the British Basketball League's all-star five of the week.

The 27-year-old was joined in the side by Rahmon Fletcher (Newcastle Eagles), Rashawn Rembert (Sheffield Sharks), Navid Niktash (London Lions) and Leslee Smith (Bristol Flyers).

The Molten BBL player of the month for March continued his rich vein of form into April.

Kennedy impressed for Wolves in an exciting 93-87 league victory at Plymouth Raiders which was their 11th success in a row.

He came within a whisker of posting a triple after harvesting an all-action 12 points, nine rebounds and nine assists as well as four steals.

Jermaine Sanders (Leeds Force), Rashad Hassan (London Lions), Pierre Hampton (Leicester Riders), Cory Dixon (Plymouth Raiders), Earl Brown (Cheshire Phoenix), Mike Vigor (Bristol Flyers) and Scott Martin (Newcastle Eagles) were named on the all-star bench.

Wolves will hope forward Kennedy continues his impressive run when sixth-placed London Lions visit the University of Worcester Arena on Friday (7.30pm).

Worcester are third level on points with Sheffield while Glasgow Rocks and Lions sit two and four points behind respectively with a game in hand.
