THE experienced Paula Bayon and Imogen Youd return for Worcester Wolves women tomorrow after being out since the start of the season through injury.

Fourth-placed Wolves play at third-from-bottom Liverpool outfit Sefton Starlights in National Basketball League Division Two North at Litherland High School (4pm).

Club captain and guard Bayon is back after an ankle injury, while Youd has recovered from a foot problem.

Head coach Ryan Emery said: “Sefton will be a difficult challenge as we are without our starting forward Dalia Jakubaityte through suspension.

“But we have Paula and Imogen both available after long-term injuries although I’m not sure how much they will play.

“They played in a university game on Wednesday and impressed so I’m excited to see how they both can fit into our team. They will only make us better.

“Throughout January a lot of our players are students at the University of Worcester so they have had a lot of exams and deadlines in January.

“Basketball has taken a back seat for the majority of January but we have still been in practice as much as we can.

“No game is more important then the next. It would be ideal to win today but if we don’t it won’t be the end of the world. We know how good we can be but need more time.

“I think we will be OK though. We are in a good place with the team at the minute.”
