WORCESTER Warriors' Sam Vesty has been appointed England skills coach by boss Eddie Jones for their two-Test series against Argentina.
The Sixways backs coach will join the senior squad on the two-week tour in place of Rory Teague who has joined Bordeaux Begles.
Vesty, 35, made 228 appearances in stints at Leicester Tigers and Bath as a utility back.
He helped steer Worcester Cavaliers to the Aviva A League final for the first time in the 2014-15 season while also playing a big role in helping a young Warriors side win the British and Irish Cup.
Capped at under 18 and under 21 levels Vesty also made two senior appearances for England against Argentina in 2009.
Head coach Jones said: "I was impressed by how Worcester attack. He interviewed very well. He's got a nice feel for the game and I think he can add to us and help us with the attack."
