THE capacity of Worcester Warriors’ Sixways stadium has been reduced to 11,499.
Warriors have, in recent years, recorded their capacity as 12,024.
But the figure has been re-adjusted on the club’s safety licence.
Warriors had a sell-out crowd of 11,499 for their Aviva Premiership showdown against Bristol last month.
They are expecting a bumper attendance for Saturday’s clash with play-off chasing Bath (3pm).
“In our safety licence, the hospitality boxes were double counted for 10 places inside and 10 outside,” explained Warriors chief executive Jim O’Toole.
“Warriors only sell 10 places so the 36 boxes create an extra 360 spaces.
“The standing area of 200 in the South Stand was also counted but they aren’t sold places and that also applies to 70 in the standing area in the south-west corner.”
