EVESHAM and Upton-on-Severn rugby clubs have swapped places in the Midlands League structure for next season.

Nathan Chambers’ Evesham side have secured promotion to Midlands Three West (South), while Upton’s relegation has been confirmed to Midlands Four West (South).

Evesham, who have just won the North Midlands Vase after pipping Cleobury Mortimer 10-9, can look forward to locking horns next term with Ledbury, Pershore and Cheltenham North.

Upton, who finished bottom of Midlands Three West (South), will have fewer local derbies next season but will be coming up against rivals Redditch.
