The former Napoli coach is believed to have held talks with the Stamford Bridge hierarchy as rumours swirl over the likely departure of Antonio Conte.

The Sun says both West Ham and Fulham are looking to bring the £25million star to England as both London rivals look to bolster their attacking options for the 2018/19 season.

Sticking with West Ham, and the Hammers may be more readily able to target the French ace, as the Mirror says they have been beaten in the race to land Barcelona’s Marlon by Southampton. The paper says the defender is due to become Mark Hughes’ third signing of the summer after agreeing a £10million fee.

Andros Townsend: Newcastle look to be getting their finances in order to bring the winger back to St James’ Park, according to the Telegraph. Following relegation two years ago, Townsend made his way to Crystal Palace, but appears to have stayed on Newcastle’s radar, with the club set to consider a bid if they choose to sell Matt Ritchie to Stoke, the paper says.

Andreas Weimann: After selling Bobby Reid and Aden Flint, Bristol City are said to be seeking to make an investment in the Derby forward. The 26-year-old has one year remaining on his contract and City are looking to bid £2million, according to the Mirror.
