Town look to close gap further
MALVERN Town hope for victory at Dunstable Town tomorrow (Saturday) as they look to climb the Southern League Division One Midlands table.
Paul Molloy's side followed up their 1-0 win at Rothwell at the weekend with a 0-0 draw at Bedworth United on Wednesday.
They are still four points behind the next team in the league but the manager was grateful to have picked up another point in their quest for survival.
"It was another battle," he said. "They had slightly more possession than us but we had the clear cut chances. It's another point on the road to recovery.
"Hopefully we can get another win at Dunstable and look to start getting up the table."
Striker Justin Marsden is set to continue in the side after making his debut at Bedworth, while fellow Telford loanee Matthew Wood is expected to keep his place on the left.
However, Malvern will be without left-back Nick Clayton and central defender Pete Boyle who serve one-match bans following their red cards in the 11-0 defeat at Chesham United.
Dunstable are 12th in the table but were without a game in mid-week following the postponement of their match at Cinderford due to a waterlogged pitch.
But the Bedfordshire side won 3-1 at high-flying Romulus on Saturday, bouncing back from a 5-2 home defeat against Sutton Coldfield Town.
