MALVERN Town manager Paul Molloy is hoping the fixture computer can help his team out of their current predicament.

The Langland Stadium side picked up only their fifth point of the season on Saturday when they drew 2-2 at home against Willenhall Town.

But Malvern now face five successive away games in Southern League Division One Midlands and Molloy believes that could be a blessing in disguise.

He said: "We have got five away games on the bounce, which might not be a bad thing because we seem to get better results away from home. We haven't won at home this year.

"We could do with three wins from five out of those away games.

"In the last 18 months since I have been in charge we have probably won 10 or 11 away games so we are a better away team."

The first of those matches is at 12th-placed Chesham United tomorrow (3pm), when Molloy hopes to welcome back several players.

Striker Andrew Widdowson and midfielders Adam New, Greg Andrews and Joel Skyers are all available after missing the Willenhall draw, while centre-half Andy Jones is due to have a fitness test on his groin.

However, although Bryan Craven's ban for two yellow cards at the weekend is not yet in force, the striker is banned for tomorrow after picking up five bookings.

Defender Pete Boyle could also join from Ledbury Town in time to make the squad.
