Must-win games for Town

MALVERN Town manager Paul Molloy has admitted his side will be fighting relegation for the rest of the season if they don't win their next two games.

The Langland Stadium side are rooted to the bottom of Southern League Division One Midlands with just one point from eight games.

But they host third-from-bottom Chesham United tomorrow (3pm) and visit Berkhamsted Town, who a one place above Malvern, on Tuesday.

Molloy said: "They are both must-win games otherwise we are going to be in a relegation battle all season.

"We have got to win the next two games to get ourselves out of it. I think we can but when you are on top you have got to score."

Malvern paid the price for missing chances when they crashed 3-1 at home to Didcot Town in the FA Trophy last Saturday.

Molloy was also sent from the touchline after complaining about a challenge by Matthew Bartley on goalkeeper Lewis Skyers in the build-up to Didcot's second.

"We are just not getting the breaks," the manager said. "The refereeing is absolutely shocking. We have had six big decisions go against us this season so we are just waiting for one to go our way, but we have still got to stick the ball in the back of the net."

Adam Beresford will miss the game with ankle ligament damage but fellow midfielder Gary Walker is available from Worcester City again.
