MALVERN Town manager Paul Molloy wants his team to use their first victory since mid-October as a springboard to launch them up the table.

The Langland Stadium outfit bounced back from the humiliation of losing 11-0 at Chesham United by winning 1-0 at fellow Southern League Division One Midlands strugglers Rothwell Town at the weekend.

Molloy's men now face three away games in five days, starting with tonight's trip to Bedworth United (7.45), looking to claw themselves away from the relegation zone.

The manager said: "We have got Bedworth, then we go to Dunstable on Saturday and to Aylesbury on Monday.

"We are just hoping we can go on a bit of a run now because if we do it can shoot us up the table. It was not a pretty game against Rothwell but we were just happy to win."

Forward Stuart Rencher made his debut against Rothwell but misses Wednesday's (December 5)match through work commitments but strikers Justin Marsden and Matthew Wood are expected to feature after joining on loan from Telford.

Shaun Findlay, however, will not be involved after Worcester City withdrew the midfielder before Malvern's trip to Rothwell in order for him to step up his training.
