Further boosts for The Chase players

THE Chase U18 and U15 rugby teams achieved notable success this season in the national Daily Mail Cup, the U15s going out in the third round to King Edward private school in Birmingham.

The U15s have enjoyed a great season, winning the West Worcestershire league, winning every game by more than fifty points, scoring 268 points and only 17 against.

The boys have also played, and are undefeated by, other private schools including Kings and RGS in Worcester.

The team has had a further boost with the arrival of a new playing kit sponsored by the father of scrum-half Rory Jones' father's company Integralis.

Further success for The Chase has been achieved by the U13s and U14s who recently won their respective CCT (Chase, Cleeve and Tewkesbury schools) tournaments played at Tewkesbury Rugby Club.

The U13s won both of their games beating Tewkesbury 33-5 and Cleeve in a very tight match 12-5 that enabled them to secure the shield.

Centre Sam Harris being nominated by all three coaches as being man of the tournament.

The U14s also won both games beating Tewkesbury 12-5 and Cleeve 42-0.

Full-back Tom Milner was nominated as man of the tournament for his two try-saving tackles in the Tewkesbury game.
