Round-up
Goal crazy end to season
CALLOW END 5,
MALVERN RADAR 3.
CALLOW End stormed to victory in an eight-goal thriller to wrap up their season.
The home side were given too much time and space in the first-half and with some slick passing scored three first-half goals by Sam Black, Marc Cooke and Adam Morse.
Radar did score two fantastic goals, the first a 30-yard strike into the top corner by man-of-the-match Marian Halcack and the second, a superb lob by Darren Loader.
Callow reverted to a 4-3-3 formation in the last ten minutes and this paid dividends straight away when Thomas Crump curled a free-kick into the bottom corner of Radar's net.
With Radar searching for an equaliser, player/manager Hayden Jordan volleyed the goal that sealed third place in the league in the dying minutes of the game.
Callow End held their AGM on Sunday, April 27 and Graham Cooke won Players' Player of the Season, Marc Cooke Manager's player, Lance Passey Best Clubman and John Greenwood Top Goal Scorer with 25 in league and cup.
Callow End are looking for new players for next season.
