Referees’ course
THERE are still some places available on the next referees' course, which starts on Friday January 4 at the Worcestershire Football Association headquarters in Droitwich.
Candidates must be over 14 years old. It is also an ideal opportunity for players who may be thinking about winding down to consider how they can still be involved on the park, and at the same time get exercise doing something they enjoy.
There are various opportunities for progression up the refereeing ladder for all ages and you could possibly be officiating at semi-professional level within two years.
Further details are available from referees' co-coordinator Bill Allsopp on 01299 826654 or visit www.worcestershirefa.com
