The 24-year-old took to the track as the Snetterton circuit hosted a Lotus Formula One Festival. A crowd of 20,000 spectators went to see current Formula One Lotus stars Heikki Kovalinen and Jarno Trulli demonstrate their state-of-the-art cars as well as older F1 lotus’s. They were entertained by national level motor racing throughout the weekend. Cameron had one pole position, two race wins and two fastest laps, putting him in the lead of the 2010 Monoposto Championship, the largest championship in the UK for single seat racing cars. He said: “It was absolutely fantastic to be racing at such a prestigious event, to meet my idols and have so many spectators, I am still on a real high after a near perfect result.
