MALVERN'S Claire Crozier won the UCI rainbow jersey at the Tour of Cambridgeshire.
Over a 79-mile course starting and finishing in Peterborough, the Northleigh Primary School teacher clocked three hours 35 minutes to top the 40 to 44 year category.
She secured victory in a sprint finish in perfect conditions after narrowly avoiding a crash with one kilometre to go.
Crozier, who trains with Malvern Cycle Sport, raced for Black Sheep Cycling Club along with Pete Crozier.
He clocked 3.12 to secure a place at September's Gran Fondo World Championships in Varese, Italy.
The event gave amateur cyclists the chance to compete in professional conditions on closed roads.
