FOUR Malvern Joggers members ran in the footsteps of The Beatles when they took part in the Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon.
A record number of competitors turned out for the race which started at Albert Dock and finished at the Echo Arena.
Andy Campbell and Helen Reid crossed the line in two hours, seven minutes and 11 seconds while Viv Tolley finished in 2.36.53 and Ian Probert in 2.16.14.
Elsewhere, Mike Bolton came seventh in his age category at the Welford 10k in a time of 50.40 while two Joggers competed in the Worcester Half Marathon.
Simon Richardson chalked up an impressive time of 1.39.44, ahead of Jerry Greer in 1.43.41.
Four Malvern Buzzards also took part in Worcester with Adam Dyson finishing in 1.33.46, James Elliot-Williams 1.48.51, Scott Mitchell 2.12.18, Keith Forde 2.24.16, Jennie Bond 2.25.01.
