MALVERN’S Lottie Trevethan secured gold and bronze medals at the British Tetrathlon Championships.

The modern pentathlete, 15, performed consistently over the four disciplines of swimming, fencing, running and shooting at Bath University.

She won the individual bronze and team gold in the under 17s category with her team-mates from Leweston Pentathlon Academy.

The weekend before, Trevethan took part in the South West Pentathlon which added show jumping on top of the other disciplines.

After winning the riding and fencing, she claimed the individual silver medal.
