TEN Malvern Joggers' members travelled the relatively short distance to support the annual Hereford New Year's Day 10k race.

There was an undulating course for the event organised by Wye Valley Runners.

First Jogger home was Jon Newey in a time of 37 minutes eight seconds followed by Nic Dauncey (42.34), Mike Bolton (48.13), Lucy Bennett-Poole (49.50), Claire Haynes (50.44), Steve Roode (51.58), Julie Caseley (55.02), Amanda Duncan (55.20), Helen Card (1.02.39), Lorraine Bunn (1.05.24) and Vivien Tolley (1.05.25).

Also on New Year's Day was the Croome Dirt run with the option of a 5k, 10k or 15k at Croome Court near Pershore.

Sam Eden clocked 52.58, Martin Reed Darby 53.54, Mark Seyler 56.25 and John Bryan 1.04.47 in the 10k while Chris Smallman ran 1.01.04, Megz Judge 1.06.57 and Martha Worthington 1.09.27 in the 15k.

Caseley ran the Pub to Pub race organised by Portsmouth Joggers, traditionally held to support the Portsmouth Hospitals Rocky Appeal.

On an undulating course of 7.4 miles on quiet country lanes, Caseley finished in 1.06.17.

Judge competed in the Tempo Winter Series race three.

The series of five road races are run over a course of 10.13k.

The course is the same for each race but is run counter clockwise then clockwise on each alternate date.

Judge was second woman in 46.25 while Henry Walker was fourth in his category in ninth overall in 40.09

Wesley Ogden did 54.17 and Lorraine Brooks 58.31.

Lynda Broadway and Mike Anstey were in Gloucestershire doing the Westonbirt House Christmas 10k at Westonbirt House and Gardens.

Anstey finished in 1.04.58 and Broadway 1.01.32.
