MARTIAL arts veteran ace Mac Gilmour has been handed a high honour.
The 72-year-old, who runs karate classes in Malvern and Worcester, was entered into magazine Martial Arts Illustrated's hall of fame.
Gilmour, of Knightwick, has been enjoying the sport for 52 years and is still going strong with seven black belts in different forms.
He attended the presentation in Burton and was put forward for an award at the UK Martial Arts Show Hall Of Fame on Sunday, May 6, in Doncaster.
Gilmour's Black Dragon Karate Kinjite Ryu classes are at Grove Primary School, Pickersleigh Grove, Malvern, on Thursdays from 6.30pm until 7.30pm and at Warndon Youth and Community Centre, Shap Drive, Worcester, on Fridays from 7pm until 8pm.
The club are part of the National Karate Association.
