THE Hereford autumn 10-kilometre event organised by Stride Out Events attracted a number of Malvern Joggers.

Martin Toland finished well in 11th place in 48 minutes one second.

Also running were a team who mostly only started running earlier this year.

Ian Whitlock clocked one hour 11 minutes 15 seconds, Daniel Nisbett 1.11.16, Graham Bird and Susan Lewis 1.12.05 and Theresa Gilbert 1.6.32.

Debbie Parker was up Snowdon competing in the Brooks Snowdonia Marathon.

The demanding and spectacular route encircles the peak.

The challenging course begins just outside Llanberis and sees competitors climb 1,100 feet to the top.

Participants also had to tackle a rapid climb of around 1,200ft at Bwlch y Groes before finishing back in Llanberis.

Parker finished in 4.25.14.

After achieving a Parkrun personal best, Nic Dauncey competed in the Rugby half-marathon and ran 1.30.57 for 39th place.

Dauncey said: “It was not a bad road route until the last three miles then just a constant climb.”

Julian Satchell competed in the Endurancelife Suffolk Coastal trails in Suffolk and opted for the ultra distance.

The start and finish was near Dunwich village.

He finished 49th out of 94 finishers from 160 starters in 6.14.47.
