TWO Malvern Joggers runners competed to beat a steam train in the 14-mile Rotary challenge in Wales.
The Race The Train event is organised by Tywyn Rotary Club and attracts runners from all over the world.
Mike Anstey finished in two hours 46 minutes and 54 seconds and Lynda Broadway in 2.46.54.
But the train’s time was 1.47.40.
Meanwhile, Malvern Joggers also had members at the Cranham Boundary Chase multi-terrain race.
Steve Roode did the 10k in 53.41 while Andy Banham competed in the 5k in 34.06.
