NINE Malvern Joggers members travelled to Woolhope, Herefordshire, for the multi-terrain Hope Valley 8.3.

The club were led home by Ben Toon in one hour eight minutes 16 seconds.

He was followed by Mark Cooling (1.13.41), Emily Priest (1.13.51), Julie Caseley (1.14.13), Debbie Parker (1.16.25), Alison Priest (1.16.55), Lucy Gallagher (1.23.53), Julia Heron (1.23.53) and Glyn Davies (1.26.58).

Eleven Joggers ran the Cardiff half-marathon and Megan Judge was first back in 1.40.33.

Peter Wilson clocked 1.44.14, Ian Walwyn 1.44.32, Steve Roode 1.55.37, Paula Smy 2.05.38, Pippa Denman 2.10.15, Annabelle Bolton 2.14.39 and Jennie Cale 2.10.16.

Shona Toon completed her first half-marathon in 2.24.08, Emily Seyler did 2.39.34 and Steven Massey ran through a knee injury to finish in 2.43.31.

Meanwhile, Mark Dillon finished the Bournville Leafy 10-kilometre event in 48.49.

Lynda Broadway and Mike Anstey went to South Wales for the Where Ravens Dare Marathon, clocking 8.15.0.

They then headed to Staffordshire for a 10km race at Shugborough Hall.

Anstey ran 1.00.23 and Broadway 1.02.39.

Meanwhile, Ledbury Harriers’ Couch to 5K has seen 50 people sign up and start the running course.

The nine-week programme is suitable for beginners and will be followed by a 5km Parkrun.

Harriers are already planning the next course.
